Web Folders in Windows XP

Please follow the steps below to enable access to Web Folders using Windows XP.

1. Select Network Places from the Start menuk.

   

2. Double Click Add a Network Location.

   

3. On the first of a series of "Add Network location" windows, click Next.

   

4. Select "Choose a custom network location" and click Next.

   

5. Enter the URL of the network address and click Next.

   The Network address is as follows:

   https://my.senecacollege.ca:443/bbcswebdav/users/type_your_username_here

   

6. Enter the My.Seneca User Name and Password and click OK.

   Note: To maintain security, do NOT check the Remember my Password check box.

   

7. Provide a Name for the network location.

   This is the name of the folder you will use to access your files.

   

8. Press Finish.
