The Course Copy page enables you to copy content from an old course to a newly available course. You can select areas, such as Course Information, course Documents, Announcements, and Staff Information to copy from one course to another. Course Copy will add content to the destination course but it will not remove existing content.
Organizations also use this copy tool in same way as the information detailed below, the only difference is that the word course is replaced with organization.
Access the course containing the original content.
Click Course Copy from the Packages and Utilities area in the Control Panel menu.

Set the type of copy to Copy Course Materials into an Existing Course.

Click the Browse button.
NOTE: If you are copying content from an Organization to a Course, you will need to manually type the course ID in the destination field, rather than using the Browse button.

On the new window, select the destination course and click Submit.

Check the areas or settings you would like to copy.
In order to copy Test or Surveys, please be sure to select the content area containing the test, the Grade Center Columns and Settings as well as Test, Surveys and Pools.

When ready click Submit.

After you submit the course copy, an email message will be sent to your Seneca email account once the process is completed.
Note: Once you have been notified via email, access your destination course and click on the refresh icon
of your course menu. This will reload your course menu displaying all new content areas.
When copying content and tools from one Course to an existing Course, the Course Menu must resolve itself in the destination Course. The table below describes the how Course Menu items are resolved.
