Edit Mode

This switch allows Faculty to easily change from Student View (Off) to Edit View (ON), allowing instructors to easily add, remove or modify the content as needed.

Edit Mode - OFF

When you set edit mode off;

  • Hides buttons that allow creating new content.
  • Disables context menus which allow customizing and editing of items.
  • Disables Drag and Drop features
  • Hides menu areas that are empty or hidden from students.

Edit Mode - ON

When you set edit mode on;

  • Enables buttons for creating new content.
  • Enables context menu links on different items
  • Enables Drag and Drop features which allow to re-arrange the order of items
  • Displays content that is hidden to students or empty.
